“Every day is a getting to know who you are day”

Meet Beverley

Ever since I was 8 years old, I wanted to be an actress. Raised by Jamaican parents I was quickly whisked away from such frivolity and then never gave that dream the light of day. I have worked in Corporate Canada for over 27 years and as a Certified Financial Planner I helped thousands of people identify their dream and plan their future by design until I broke. I am now 60 years old and pursuing my dream in Toronto.

What would you say has been the biggest shift in your life since turning 40?

The biggest shift is the realization that there is far less time in front of me then behind. I took pride in raising my children and now that they are successful adults out on their own living their best life, it is my turn to nurture my passion.

When do you feel you are most powerful?

I feel most powerful when I make the first step to being me and feeling comfortable in my skin while doing it. I feel when you are on the right path to your purpose, people and opportunities just show up and that’s a powerful feeling when you are present and aware.

What are the top 3 most important things to you right now?

Of top importance still remains my adult children. Then the wherewithal to be present and keep moving forward towards my goals. The 3rd would be attracting substantial income to confirm the law of attraction.

How do you make sure your actions are aligned with what’s most important to you?

Every day is a getting to know who you are day. I have a daily routine that keep me present and connected to inner guidance.

What seeds are you planting today for the future?

I want to grow a MasterTribe platform. Where people in their 3rd act of life commune and share wisdom gained in life’s first two acts so they can rescript and start to live the life they struggled for, the life they dreamed of.

What advice would you give someone who is interested in redesigning midlife?

Know Thyself and Start where you are! I share my journey and tools in my book called “Just BE Living the Dream…. How I Freed Myself from the Mundane”.
